01What is being requested
An integral, area-wide vegetation, structure, and flora mapping of the terrestrial and semi-aquatic parts of the Natura 2000 area Haringvliet covering an area expected to be over 4,000 hectares.
The Province of Zuid-Holland, together with Staatsbosbeheer and Natuurmonumenten, is preparing a joint open tender procedure for vegetation, structure, and flora mapping of the Natura 2000 area Haringvliet. The tender is expected to be published in September 2026. In preparation for this, the province, partly on behalf of Natuurmonumenten and Staatsbosbeheer, is conducting a non-binding and transparent market interest survey.
02Strategic insight
<ul Prepare for a two-year trajectory where the second year of fieldwork depends on the results and determination of the vegetation tables in the first year. Take into account the possible additional capacity deployment and costs if the contract is executed using the area description methodology (similar to VEGWAD). Ensure expertise in both terrestrial and semi-aquatic vegetation mapping.
