Area 19 is a large and important expansion project on the TU/e Campus, through which the old concept of the compact campus around the Groene Loper will be abandoned and the Zaale will become a central axis for the university. The manner in which the Area 19 program is integrated into the whole must result in a second center on the campus. The urban design concerns the design of the site layout within the demarcation of the planning area.
