A brief introduction: ODZOB is one of the 28 environmental services in the Netherlands. We were established in 2013, partly in response to the fireworks disaster in Enschede, the fire in the Hemeltje in Volendam, and the disaster in Moerdijk. Organizing licensing, supervision, and enforcement in the field of environmental law had to become smarter. Our task is therefore to ensure a safe, sustainable, and healthy physical living environment. We do this daily by working on this together with our chain partners, 21 municipalities, and the province of Noord-Brabant. We are a group of 'doers'. With
