To provide for the major expansion of electricity on Zeeburgereiland (Amsterdam), a substation for grid operators TenneT & Liander must be realized here. The energy supply of Zeeburgereiland is currently provided by OS Hoogte Kadijk. By building the new OS-ZBE, OS Hoogte Kadijk can be relieved and local growth can be accommodated.
