Realisation Partner Sluisjesdijk 2.0 Technical Migration
Waterschap Hollandse Delta (WSHD) is seeking a realisation partner for the large-scale renovation of the Sluisjesdijk (SLDK) sludge processing plant, project Sluisjesdijk 2.0. The existing installations, built in 1986, are nearing the end of their service life and must be replaced and made more sustainable. The approach is integrated and modular: each sub-process (e.g., gas holder, switch room, main distributor) is renewed step-by-step while the plant remains fully operational. For each module, a design proposal (VO+) is drawn up in a construction team (bouwteam) context with an engineering firm; this is subsequently followed by a tender and contract with the realisation partner. WSHD retains the option to award specialized assignments as lots or via the lots scheme of the Public Procurement Act. Contracting of the realisation partner is planned for June 2024, with completion of the full renovation by the end of 2029.

Slibverwerkingsbedrijf Sluisjesdijk (SLDK) was commissioned in 1986. SLDK processes sludge produced by RWZI Dokhaven and three other RWZI's. The technical installations at Sluisjesdijk are approaching the end of their service life. WSHD is seeking a contractor for the realisation of the large-scale renovation of the Sluisjesdijk sludge processing plant, hereinafter also referred to as 'Project Sluisjesdijk 2.0' or 'Project SLDK2.0'. With the package of measures and investments, SLDK is to be made robust and future-proof again, utilizing realistic and pragmatic possibilities for sustainability.
