The purpose of this call is to submit proposals for the development of ‘Maritime Drones’ (Maritime UAVs), followed by a supported prototyping process after the assessment of proposals, in order to ultimately, after determining market readiness, be eligible for inclusion in the assortment of maritime military-ready UAVs. In a later phase, if the scheme is successful, new and other types of unmanned systems may also be added to this scheme.
