The Defence Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (DEODS) is responsible for detecting, approaching, identifying, recovering, rendering harmless, clearing, destroying and removing conventional and improvised explosives. During the clearance work, the DEODS is currently using the Networked Video Observation System (NVOS) to observe and register the clearances. The current system has reached its end of life and it no longer meets the technical requirements and possibilities of this time.
