01What is being requested

Supply of a completely new to be built workboat made of aluminium, suitable for use in brackish water in Zone 3 and 4. The vessel must have a minimum service life of 20 years and is equipped with a working deck, wheelhouse, and a loading crane.

Municipality of Zaanstad intends to start a (European) procurement process for a workboat. Our ideal workboat has a crane at the bow and a cabin at the stern. When constructing jetties and quay beams, the middle section can be used for the transport and placement of bridge sections and also for cleaning buoys and other necessary maintenance.
