The Process Automation (PA) of the Water System is an essential component of the remote control and monitoring of the water system. In this process, geographically dispersed objects such as pumping stations and weirs are operated and monitored. Due to the following reasons, it is necessary to further develop this PA, whereby a partial replacement of the current PA is required: - The maintenance agreements for the current PA are expiring. - Further increasing the standardization of the PA in accordance with the PA Vision so that the number of systems is reduced and maintainability is improved.
