In 2020, a baseline measurement was conducted regarding litter on the dry area of Rijkswaterstaat. This measurement was repeated from 2021 up to and including 2025. For the years 2026 up to and including 2029, during the spring and autumn, litter measurements must be carried out by determining the aesthetic quality (CROW image quality) and the composition of litter at: - 30 service areas; - 55 on-ramps and off-ramps; - 25 connecting roads; - 25 junctions spread across the entire Netherlands.
