01What is being requested
Delivery of 116 laboratory tables for the new Physics building of TU Delft. The tables must largely consist of custom work, but preference is given to a standard table with custom components to promote sustainability.
TU Delft intends to launch an EU procurement for the delivery of laboratory tables for the furnishing of the future education and research building ‘Physics’. The initial principles for this have been elaborated in this document. Based on these principles, TU Delft requires an initial indication of the number of interested parties. TU Delft is looking for a party that can largely produce the requested laboratory tables themselves.
02Strategic insight
<ul Focus on in-house production capacity, as TU Delft is explicitly looking for a party that can largely produce the tables themselves. Ensure a solution that finds the balance between customization and standardization to meet sustainability requirements. Verify whether the technical specifications for the storage cabinet (compartmentalization and lockability) and the electricity (Wieland plug) can be fully integrated into the design.
