Reason for the EoL project: Waterschap Vechtstromen is one of the 21 water authorities in the Netherlands. It was established in 2014 through the merger of the water authorities Regge & Dinkel and Velt & Vecht. Due to this merger, Vechtstromen is responsible for water management in large parts of the provinces of Drenthe and Overijssel, and a small part of Gelderland. One of the core tasks within the water chain of the water authority is the treatment of wastewater.
