Blue Phoenix Group is seeking suppliers for a pilot plant of a groundbreaking climate change mitigation technology for the concrete industry. The technology replaces cement with a low-carbon binder, known as the MIBA Filler, and is funded by the EU. The objective is to upscale a laboratory flow diagram to a pilot plant, including a dryer gas treatment system of 500+ (units). The tender is public and focuses on the supply of the required equipment, installation, testing, and documentation. Suppliers must demonstrate experience with industrial installations, comply with EU standards, and be able to provide a clear timeline for the demonstration. The pilot will serve as a basis for a full-scale up, validating performance, emission reduction, and economic feasibility.

This project aims to demonstrate a breakthrough climate-change mitigation technology for the concrete industry by replacing cement with a low-carbon binder. The EU is subsidizing the first demonstration plant under the project name LIFE MIBA Filler. The laboratory-scale research has resulted in a process flow diagram which we want to upscale in this MIBA Filler pilot plant before having a full-scale plant. Hereto we invite companies to submit their quotations for amongst others following items.
