Following the adoption of the Wet Kansspelen Op Afstand (hereinafter: KOA), the Ksa is assigned tasks aimed at preventing gambling addiction as much as possible. To support these new tasks, the Ksa has prepared in recent years by describing the process for voluntary and involuntary exclusion from games of chance and developing a supporting application for this purpose, the Centraal Register voor de Uitsluiting van KansSpelen (CRUKS).
