The EU procurement, published on 8 March 2018, is aimed at purchasing 100% sustainably generated electricity for the Stichting Katholieke Universiteit (SKU) for the benefit of Radboudumc and Radboud Universiteit. SKU places a high priority on sustainability and intends to take further steps in the procurement of sustainably generated electricity in the coming years. SKU therefore intends to enter into a 10-year agreement as of 1 January 2020 with an Entrepreneur capable of supplying 100% sustainably generated electricity from additional sustainable projects in the Netherlands from 1 January 2024, in accordance with a growth path specified by SKU until 2024.
