HTM Personenvervoer N.V. wishes to procure a new electric overhead line maintenance vehicle to perform inspections and maintenance on traction energy installations (overhead lines). The current vehicles are outdated and no longer comply with the stricter environmental zones in Den Haag, particularly regarding tunnel access. For the execution of inspections and maintenance of traction energy installations (overhead lines), HTM utilizes special vehicles that are mostly capable of driving both on roads and on rails. These vehicles are fully equipped for all types of work on the overhead lines. Given the age and technical condition of several of the current vehicles, HTM intends to replace one of these vehicles.
