01What is being requested
The contract concerns the delivery of car and truck materials, lubricants and fluids for the municipal vehicle fleet, divided into five lots. The total estimated value amounts to €6,600,000.00 excluding VAT for an initial term of two (2) years, with the possibility of two extensions of 1 year each.
The Municipality of Rotterdam is responsible for the management and maintenance of a wide and diverse vehicle fleet, consisting of passenger cars, commercial vehicles, specialist vehicles and heavy equipment. To keep these vehicles safe, reliable and efficiently deployable, a continuous availability of high-quality car and truck materials, lubricants and fluids is necessary. The current contracts for the delivery of these materials will expire soon. To ensure the continuity of maintenance, repairs and business operations, it is necessary to put a new contract out to tender in a timely manner.
