De opdracht betreft de vervanging van drijvende infrastructuur op de defensielocatie Fort Harssens. Werkzaamheden omvatten het verwijderen van bestaande steigers en buispalen, het leveren van nieuwe voorzieningen, baggerwerkzaamheden en het moderniseren van installaties over een oppervlakte van circa 15.000 m2 bvo.
A marina is located at the Fort Harssens defence location between pier 1 and 2. This marina was constructed in 1998 and its main users are the KMJC, the CZSK port service, and the KNRM. The current floating infrastructure between pier 1 and 2 dates back to the construction in 1998 and its technical service life has therefore expired. In recent years, the costs for (regular) maintenance of the (wooden) piers and (steel) pipe piles have increased significantly. Due to this, cost-efficient management is no longer possible.
