In 2020, a baseline measurement was conducted regarding litter on the dry area of Rijkswaterstaat. This measurement was repeated from 2021 through 2025. For the years 2026 to 2029, during the spring and autumn, litter measurements must be carried out by determining the cleanliness levels (CROW image quality) and the composition of litter at: - 30 service areas; - 55 on- and off-ramps; - 25 connecting roads; - 25 junctions distributed throughout the Netherlands.
