Tunnel Houtenhoek is located on the provincial road between Helmond and Deurne. The tunnel is located under the Bakelseweg in Deurne. Since 2020, various asphalt damages have occurred in the tunnel. Since 2022, investigations have been conducted into the technical condition of the tunnel, with the aim of determining the cause of the asphalt damage.
